About This Course

Gain in-demand expertise that connects the technical engineering skills with business innovation knowledge needed to address complex challenges across diverse industries. This double degree provides a unique skill set that blends technical expertise with knowledge of business management, entrepreneurship and innovation processes. Throughout your studies, you will build knowledge and skills across business, applied science, computing and engineering, to address societal and industry challenges. The condensed program structure means that you can complete your double degree in 5.5 years, significantly less time than it would take to complete two single degrees. Upon completing your studies, you'll have an excellent understanding of engineering, applied science, computing, business and innovation management. The breadth and depth of this knowledge will give you the unique expertise and mindset to solve complex challenges in business, society, and industry (both locally and globally) and prepare you for the future of work.

Prerequisite subjects (Essential):
- Mathematics Methods ATAR
- AND at least one of the following: Chemistry ATAR OR Physics ATAR OR Engineering Studies ATAR, or equivalent

Curtin course switcher criteria: Attained an ATAR of 80 OR completed 200 credit points in the Indigenous Pre-Science and Engineering Enabling Course OR completed 100 credit points and at least 75 credit points in the semester prior to course switching in the Bachelor of Science (Multidisciplinary Science) or other Curtin undergraduate courses AND met Mathematics Methods ATAR prerequisite (or equivalent) AND met one of the Chemistry ATAR, Physics ATAR, or Engineering Studies ATAR prerequisites (or equivalent); academic status of Good Standing required
