Yes. The Bachelor of Laws is accredited by the Legal Profession Admission Board, and completing it means you have an academic qualification recognised for admission as a lawyer in Australia, subject to completing state-approved Practical Legal Training (PLT). The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) is professionally accredited by Engineers Australia, and students can also gain credit for relevant engineering work experience through the Professional Options Program.
Students complete a total of 560 hours of work experience over 16 weeks (at 35 hours per week), comprising 140 hours as part of the Bachelor of Laws component and 420 hours as part of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) component.
The minimum Selection Rank for guaranteed entry is 90. Your Selection Rank is your ATAR or IB Combined Rank plus any adjustments you are eligible to receive, such as subject-based, school location, or equity and access scheme adjustments.
The course takes 7 years to complete full-time, or the part-time equivalent. Full-time students can expect to commit around 48 hours of study per week, including class time and independent study. The course is delivered on campus at Wollongong with intakes in Autumn 2026 and Spring 2026.
