Applicants need VCE Units 3 and 4 with a minimum study score of 23 in any English (except EAL) or 27 in English as Alternate Language (EAL), and a minimum study score of 20 in one of General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, or Specialist Mathematics, or equivalent.
Yes, there are several pathway options available, including the Associate Degree of Engineering (2 years full-time, up to 16 units max credit), the Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology - Electrical (2 years full-time, 10–12 units max credit), and the Diploma of Engineering (UniLink) (8 months full-time, 8 units max credit).
The Bachelor of Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics) (Honours) is offered at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus, with intakes available in both Semester 1 and Semester 2.
Yes. Credit transfer is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course, assessed on a case-by-case basis. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is also available for skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training, also assessed on a case-by-case basis.
