Yes. You need VCE Units 3 and 4 with a minimum study score of 23 in any English (except EAL) or 27 in English as Alternate Language (EAL), and a minimum study score of 20 in one of General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, or Specialist Mathematics (or equivalent).
Yes, several pathway options are available. The Associate Degree of Engineering (2 years full-time) offers up to 16 units of maximum credit, the Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology - Electrical (2 years full-time) offers 10–12 units of maximum credit, and the Diploma of Engineering (UniLink) (8 months full-time) offers 8 units of maximum credit.
Yes. Credit transfer is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience, allowing students to gain advanced standing towards their course, assessed on a case-by-case basis. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) also allows students to gain credit towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training, also assessed on a case-by-case basis.
International students must satisfy one of the following: an IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with an overall score of 65% and all skills at 65%, or equivalent measures as outlined in Swinburne's English language requirements.
