The degree enables students to specialise in three areas: Advanced Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing and Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Advanced Manufacturing and Robotics Engineering.
This course provides graduates with a pathway into Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Robotics, which are accredited by Engineers Australia at the Washington Accord Level.
In first year, you will focus on solidifying your engineering fundamentals with maths, design, and programming skills, then learn about cyber-physical systems, robotics and automations. In second year, you will extend your knowledge of physics and maths, whilst you learn about networks, cybersecurity, and innovations. In third year, you will learn how to manage and execute engineering projects, and decide on your advanced manufacturing major.
For domestic students, the 2026 annual indicative fee is $9,537 (CSP). For international students, the 2026 annual fee is $47,300.
