The course fee is $17,200 per year for the Bachelor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at IGI.
The WIL unit (WIL301) is a professional placement and capstone subject in the third year of the bachelor course. It provides an important opportunity for students to apply the theory and practice learned in a real workplace professional setting. The single WIL unit consists of a minimum of 150 hours of placement, with the student completing a range of assessments throughout the unit of study. Students must have completed 48 credit points from level 100 and level 200 units before undertaking WIL301.
Applicants must meet one of the following English requirements: IELTS Academic with an overall score of 6.0 and no band less than 5.5; PTE with an overall score of 50 and no band less than 42; or Cambridge English C1 Advanced with an overall score of 169 and no band less than 162. IGI may waive this requirement for applicants who have completed AQF Level 4 or higher in Australia, completed one year of Higher Education in Australia, or completed senior secondary study in English in certain approved countries.
Graduates can pursue careers as an entrepreneur working for themselves, managing a start-up or small business; as an intrapreneur within a large organisation; or in employment roles such as Business Consultant, Commercialisation Manager, Business Development Manager, Business Manager, or Innovation Manager.
The course consists of a total of 24 units worth 75 credit points, spread across three levels. Level 100 includes 7 core units and 1 elective (8 units total); Level 200 includes 7 core units and 1 elective (8 units total); Level 300 includes 5 core units, 2 electives, and 1 Work Integrated Learning/Capstone Project unit worth 6 credit points (8 units total). The WIL unit in Level 300 involves a minimum of 150 hours of professional placement.
