About This Course

Pursue your passions and maximise your career opportunities with our combined bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Commerce. You'll graduate with two degrees in just four years, a Bachelor of Environmental Science where you will take a defined study plan and a Bachelor of Commerce where you'll choose a major from a wide range of options. In a competitive employment market, you'll maximise your career opportunities by developing in-demand technical skills in the field of environmental science along with strong business and commercial skills. This will allow you to gain management principles to help implement environmental policy in a business context. You'll graduate with two qualifications in four years. If you decide either degree isn't right for you, you can exit one and complete the other. The Bachelor of Environmental Science teaches understanding, rational analysis, and improvement of human impacts on the natural world. You will obtain advanced environmental science training, providing you with the opportunity to make a real contribution to the global challenges facing humanity. Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Achieve a minimum ATAR of 80 or equivalent
Demonstrate English language competence
Mathematics Methods ATAR or Mathematics Applications ATAR with a mathematics unit taken in your first year. Students without ATAR mathematics will take two first-year mathematics units.
Chemistry ATAR or an additional chemistry unit taken in the first year.
Satisfying any prerequisites for your preferred majors (refer to individual major descriptions for prerequisite details)

What majors can I choose from in this combined degree?

You can combine one of the following extended majors from the Bachelor of Environmental Science — Environmental Science and Management (Extended Major) or Environmental Science and Ecology (Extended Major) — with one of the following Bachelor of Commerce majors: Accounting, Business Analytics, Business Law, Business Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management, or Marketing. You can also include minors and elective units in your degree.

What happens if I decide one of the degrees isn't right for me?

If you decide either degree isn't right for you, you can exit one and complete the other, giving you flexibility to still graduate with a single bachelor's degree.

Is the UWA Business School accredited?
