About This Course

Become a leader in the business of sustainability Do you have a passion for science and sustainability? Want to play a part in solving the environmental problems facing our society? This combined degree can help set you on a leadership path in this fast-growing industry.

Learn to understand and combat the critical issues placing a growing strain on the earth’s natural resources such as climate change, human impacts, and the biodiversity crisis. Gain experience in management-based skills to help protect our environment. Both now and into the future. When you combine these skills with a broad knowledge of local and global business environments, you expand your commercial and entrepreneurial opportunities in the environmental space – and maximise your employability when you graduate. For additional information about this degree you can refer to the pages for the corresponding single degrees: Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management, and Bachelor of Business (pre 2025) Our students teamed up with CSIRO and Geosciences Sydney Uni on the voyage of a lifetime, investigating the causes of submarine landslides that lead to tsunamis. Students will complete a 140-hour work placement in a private sector, government or community organisation. There is also the option to undertake overseas field courses. Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management students are also eligible to enrol in International Study. Fieldwork is a strong focus of the program and is complemented by practical lab work.
