Yes, this program has been suspended from May 2026. There are no further intakes of students planned. It is being replaced by the Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology, which begins in January 2027.
You will complete a minimum of 140 hours of placements in a variety of national and international sport, exercise, fitness, and healthcare environments, providing you with valuable work experience before commencing your career.
Yes. The program and its subjects align with Exercise & Sports Science Australia's (ESSA) Exercise Science standards, which means you will be recognised as an Accredited Exercise Scientist (AES) upon graduation.
With Bond's three-semester-per-year timetable, you can complete the Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science in just two years and progress seamlessly into postgraduate health sciences programs for another two years, making this the fastest pathway to a career in physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
You will become proficient with the latest technologies in sports performance, including GPS technology and video analysis. The program is delivered at the Bond Institute of Health and Sport, which includes an internationally recognised High-Performance Training Centre, as well as exercise and sports science teaching and research laboratories that provide sports science testing, training, and recovery services to a variety of elite and sub-elite athletes.
