Yes, as part of RMIT's 2026 pilot for domestic applicants, you may meet minimum English language requirements through approved proficiency tests. Accepted tests include IELTS (Academic) with a minimum overall score of 6.5 (no band less than 6.0), TOEFL iBT with an overall score of 79, PTE (Academic) with a score of 58 (no communication band less than 50), or C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency with a score of 176 (no less than 169 in any component). Note that IELTS (General) is not accepted, and tests must be valid within 2 years of the test date.
Yes. If you are applying through the Schools Network Access Program (SNAP) or the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Access Program, the English study score for admission is 5 points lower than the published study score for bachelor degrees. Note that the minimum English study scores for entry may be set higher than the standard scores, so you should check the specific program page for details.
Applicants with Australian interstate Year 12 qualifications or New Zealand NCEA Level 3 must achieve a study score in an English course deemed equivalent to VCE requirements, with NCEA Level 3 applicants needing 18 credits in equivalent courses. Applicants with an equivalent overseas Year 12 qualification must have completed an equivalent English course with the required study scores. Equivalent courses are assessed on a case-by-case basis using VTAC's interstate subject guide.
While RMIT UniReady is listed as a pathway for associate degrees (not directly for bachelor degrees under the standard entry table), post-secondary study options such as satisfactory completion of 2 undergraduate level courses equivalent to at least 24 RMIT University credit points, or an AQF accredited award at certificate IV or above, are accepted as meeting entry requirements for bachelor degrees including the Bachelor of Fashion (Enterprise).

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
