You'll gain hands-on experience across screen and media production throughout the three years. In your final year, you'll have the opportunity to create a TV pilot, and you'll graduate with a portfolio of creative work to show future employers and creative collaborators. You'll also learn from passionate teachers, research experts and filmmakers who have decades of experience in the field.
Yes. After your first year, you can focus on an area that interests you by choosing minors. The available minors are Visual Effects (covering concept art, animation, CGI, motion capture and virtual production), Sound Production (covering music and sound production techniques, immersive sound design and music industry enterprise), and Performance (covering acting, writing for theatre, script analysis and community-engaged arts practice).
Domestic students can gain entry with a Guaranteed Entry ATAR of 65.00, a STAT score of 150.0, a GPA of 4.0, or a TAFE/VET Certificate IV or above. A pathway option is also available via the Arts | Diploma in Arts. There are no prerequisites or assumed knowledge required.
For 2026, the annual indicative fees are $16,417 for Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) students and $35,500 for Full Fee Paying (FFP) students.
The course is delivered in person at Bedford Park and is available full-time (3 years) or part-time equivalent, though part-time study is not available for international students. Intake dates are available in March and July each year. The course is deferrable.
