Common Questions
No, ACPE's Bachelor of Football (Development, Management and Performance) is not ATAR dependent. You can be considered for admission via a range of criteria including a minimum NSW HSC or equivalent, VET qualifications such as a Certificate III/IV or Diploma, one year of higher education study at a recognised Australian institution, a recognised overseas qualification with demonstrated English proficiency, or through early and alternate entry pathways.
Work-integrated learning placements are a key aspect of this course. Students will gain a minimum of 260 hours of placements in football environments. ACPE's Industry Hub supports students to identify and secure placements, prepares WIL agreements, delivers information sessions outlining expectations and workplace etiquette, and provides ongoing support throughout the placement.
The degree explores a range of football codes including soccer, rugby league, rugby union, AFL, rugby 7s, wheelchair rugby, futsal, and touch football. Students learn how these global sports deliver exemplary practice in contexts such as coaching, community participation, management, leadership, sport science, and high-performance.
Alongside the Bachelor of Football (Development, Management and Performance), students can obtain additional certifications including the AIS Community Coaching Essential Skills Course, a Coaching Course such as NRL Community Coach or FA Mini Roos Coaching, and a Football Officiating Course.
Graduates can pursue a range of postgraduate qualifications including the Graduate Certificate in Sport Operations Management, Graduate Certificate in Leadership in Sport, Graduate Certificate in Athlete Wellbeing and Management, Graduate Certificate in Ethics and Integrity in Sport, Graduate Diploma of Sport Management, and Graduate Certificate of Sport Management.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
