The guaranteed entry ATAR for this double degree is 65.0. You'll be guaranteed a place in this course if you meet or exceed this score, provided you meet the course prerequisites. The lowest ATAR to receive an offer in 2025 after adjustment factors was 66.25.

Yes. A study score of 25 in Art Creative Practice, Drama, Product Design and Technologies, Applied Comp: Software Development, Literature, Media, Creative and Digital Media (VCE VET) I, Art Making and Exhibiting, Theatre Studies or Visual Communication Design equals 4 aggregate points per study, with an overall maximum of 10 points. Note that subject adjustment points are applied to the aggregate, not the ATAR.

Several pathway courses are available, including the Diploma of Business (UniLink) (8 months full-time, up to 8 units of credit), the Diploma of Design (UniLink) (8 months, up to 8 units of credit), and the Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media - Animation. These pathways allow students to progress from one qualification to another where the first course is recognised as an entry requirement and/or provides credit (advanced standing) into the degree.

International students must satisfy one of the following: an IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or completion of Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with an overall score of 65% and all skills at 65% or above, or equivalent measures as outlined on Swinburne's English language requirements page.

Yes. Credit transfer is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course. Additionally, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows students to gain credit towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training. Both are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
