Yes, students can study Global Sport Business in Perth and in the UK with ECU's and the University of Portsmouth's unique dual degree, receiving two qualifications in only 4 years full-time along with a fantastic international experience.
For domestic students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $17,400 (Commonwealth supported place). For international students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $38,600.
All students complete 80 hours of professional practice (SBL3800 Professional Practice) engaging with industry and/or community partners. Students also complete practicum placements totalling a minimum of 51 hours across four units: SPM1102 (10 hours), TSM2202 (6 hours), SPM2111 (20 hours), and TSM3501 (15 hours). Additionally, students can choose to complete an Internship Minor, which involves a minimum of 225 hours of learning in a work setting per internship unit, across two consecutive semesters. Industry partners mentioned include the West Coast Eagles, Perth Heat and Western Force.
Students can choose from the following majors within this course: Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, Sports Science, and Tourism and Hospitality Management. One or more of the majors in this course is externally recognised when studied within this course.
Students are required to complete 16 Core Units. This will be supported by an 8-unit supplementary program, comprising a Major, or a Minor plus Elective units, or two Minors, or 8 Elective units. The course is completed over 3 years full-time or part-time equivalent and is accredited as an AQF Level 7 Bachelor Degree.
