Upon completing this course, you will receive a Bachelor of Global Sport Business Management (International) from ECU and a BSc (Hons) Global Sport Management from the University of Portsmouth in the UK — two qualifications in only 4 years full-time.
Students will complete 360 credit points (24 units) at ECU in Year 1, 2 and 4, and 120 credit points (6 units) at the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom in Year 3. The first two years are delivered on campus by Edith Cowan University, the third year is delivered on campus by the University of Portsmouth, and the fourth year returns to ECU.
English competency requirements may be satisfied through one of the following: Year 12 English ATAR/English Literature ATAR grade C or better or equivalent; Special Tertiary Admissions Test; IELTS Academic Overall band minimum score of 6.0 (no individual band less than 6.0); successfully completed 1.0 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher in the UK, Ireland, USA, NZ or Canada; University Preparation Course; Indigenous University Orientation Course; AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree; successfully completed 0.375 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent); or other tests, courses or programs defined on the English Proficiency Bands page.
Yes. All students undertaking this course will complete 80 hours of professional practice where they engage with industry and/or community partner(s) to practically apply their discipline learning. Examples of professional practice could be an internship, client-based project, consultancy, service learning, simulated practice, competition, or combination of. Students are responsible for sourcing their own professional practice opportunity, with the support of the work-integrated learning team. Additionally, selected students (by application only) may enrol in an Internship Minor comprising FBL3400 Business Internship 1 and FBL3500 Business Internship 2.
For domestic students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $17,400 (Commonwealth supported). For international students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $38,600.
