Offered as a Bachelor Degree qualification of 240 credit points, it is normally completed in 3 years full-time and 6 years part-time. It is administered within Western Sydney University's Health Sciences academic area. Subjects include Meaningful Movement in PE, Understanding Physical Education, Teaching Contemporary Health Education, Navigating Sensitive Topics in Health Education and Sport Depth Study. Intakes are offered in Autumn. Graduates are expected to be able to facilitate supportive, strengths-based conversations with young people about complex and evolving health issues, guided by curriculum, evidence, trust, and mutual respect.
