Previous university study from an approved institution may be accepted, with the course needing to be at least one-sixth completed
TAFE qualifications (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Diploma, Level IV Certificate excluding trade certificates) may be used for entry
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants may apply through the Indigenous Admission Program (IAP), a three-day workshop and assessment process, for those who haven't completed secondary school, are not receiving an ATAR, or don't have the required ATAR
Mature aged students aged at least 21 on 1 March of their commencement year may apply using the Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) Multiple Choice
TAFE Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TPC) may be accepted depending on academic performance
Veterans may apply through the Veterans Scholar Scheme using ADF service and qualifications equivalent to Certificate IV or higher
International students may apply through a UOW representative/agent, directly to UOW, or through UAC
