The Bachelor of Health Science (Professional) offers six majors: Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health, Biomedical Science, Clinical Technologies, Neuroscience, Nutrition, and Public Health and Health Promotion.
The Guaranteed Entry ATAR is 75.0. You'll be guaranteed a place in this course if you meet or exceed this score, provided you also meet the course prerequisites. The lowest ATAR to receive an offer in 2025 (after adjustment factors) was 76.2.
Yes. A study score of 25 in Health and Human Development, any Mathematics, Physical Education, any Science or Sociology equals 2 aggregate points per study, and a study score of 30 in those same subjects equals 3 aggregate points per study, with an overall maximum of 15 points. Subject adjustment points are applied to the aggregate, not the ATAR.
The course takes 4 years full-time or equivalent part-time, and is available at the Hawthorn campus with intakes in Semester 1 and Semester 2.
International students must demonstrate satisfactory completion of one of the following: an IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with an overall 70% and all skills 65% or above, or equivalent measures as outlined on Swinburne's English language requirements page.
