Bachelor of Health Sciences

International:

• Minimum age: at least 17 years old at the time of enrolment.
• Academic: minimum an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent); for the Global region, an ATAR of 70 (or equivalent) is the standard published academic entry score.
• English entry requirements (Level A): overall score 6.5 for IELTS (Academic), with minimum band scores: Listening 6.0, Reading 6.0, Writing 6.0 and Speaking 6.0 (or equivalent approved English test scores).
• Prerequisite subjects: English only (VCE Units 3&4 score 25 for EAL or Other, or IB equivalents); no Mathematics or Science prerequisite.
• Work component is required: 8 hours/week over 24 weeks (192 hours total work component).
• Special requirement: students must meet "fitness for practice and professionalism" expectations, assessed as part of all units in the course; not meeting these can require repeating a unit or, in some circumstances, exclusion from the course.

Domestic:

• Selection is ATAR-based (Caulfield): 2026 lowest selection rank to which an offer was made was 70; lowest ATAR to which an offer was made in 2026 was 61.55; the Monash Guarantee threshold for 2026 entry is 70.
• Available Full Time or Part Time (international students are Full Time only, a visa condition); part time duration is 6 years.
• Same English-only prerequisite subject applies; no English-language test required for domestic students.
