Common Questions
Yes, the Bachelor of Health Sciences can be studied either on campus or online. However, the online option may require face to face engagement for the work integrated learning components in the third year of study. Students also have the option to attend campus for their chosen elective courses in the third year, and there are electives available for students seeking to complete the program entirely online.
The Bachelor of Health Sciences is designed to prepare students for postgraduate entry to practice offerings including the Masters of Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Paramedicine, Counselling, or Social Work. Students can select electives to meet pre-requisite requirements for these postgraduate programs.
The Bachelor of Health Sciences is available at Fremantle, Broome, and Sydney campuses. The Broome Campus supports online enrolments only.
Students are required to complete the course Experiential Learning in Health, which may include an industry placement or related project to provide real-world experience. Students can also immerse themselves in other cultures through international exchange programs, study tours, and professional placements.
For WA applicants with recent secondary education, an indicative ATAR/Selection Rank of 70 or an International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 25 is required. Applicants with higher education need to have successfully completed 4 subjects at an undergraduate level or higher, or the Notre Dame Tertiary Pathway Program. VET applicants need an AQF Certificate IV or higher. Work and life experience applicants must be at least 20 years of age and meet additional criteria such as relevant work experience or STAT scores of at least 135 (Multiple Choice) and 140 (Written English).

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
