Accepted HSC Mathematics subjects include Mathematics Standard 2 (minimum Band 5), Mathematics Advanced (minimum Band 4), Mathematics Extension 1 (minimum E2), and Mathematics Extension 2 (minimum E2).
Applicants must have completed one of the following: English Standard (minimum Band 4), English as an Additional Language or Dialect (minimum Band 4), English Advanced (minimum Band 4), English Extension 1 (minimum E2), or English Extension 2 (minimum E2).
Yes, in addition to English and Mathematics, applicants must also present any other Category A HSC subject (not already listed) at a minimum Band 4, or any other Extension subject (not already listed) at a minimum E2.
A minimum Band 5 is required in HSC Mathematics Standard 2 for entry into the Bachelor of Human Sciences at Macquarie University, which is higher than the Band 4 minimum required for Mathematics Advanced.
