Students can choose from three majors: Information Technology (covering advanced web development, data visualisation, business systems design, requirements analysis and modelling), Network Technology (focusing on the design, installation, and management of complex ICT infrastructure), and Software Technology (covering software programming, enhancement, and application for a career in software development).
Yes. Work Integrated Learning is a guaranteed part of the degree, and students will apply their learning in six professionally focused, industry-linked projects. There is also an optional professional placement of either 6 months (minor) or 12 months (major), which involves Work Experience in Industry units alongside Integrated Professional Placement units.
Successful completion requires students to complete units of study to the value of 400 credit points. The course takes 4 years full-time or equivalent part-time. All units of study are valued at 12.5 credit points unless otherwise stated.
For domestic students in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), the estimated yearly fee is $13,467.00 with a total estimated course fee of $53,868.00. International students have an estimated total course fee of $42,600.00. Fees are estimates only and subject to change. A Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) of $373.00 also applies.
