Course Overview
Course Overview Accredited by TEQSA , the UHE Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT), as the name of the course suggests, is a study of information as well as computer technology. Most such courses focus on technology and how to use it. The UHE BIT course on the other hand focuses both on the concept of information as well as technologies needed to process and use it. Some experts believe that information and knowledge are a significant percentage of a modern economy. Many new jobs are therefore information-based. For example, searching for jobs involving "analytics" on the search engine seek.com.au results in hundreds of jobs in Australia. The field of big data is also resulting in many data analyst jobs. The primary aim of the Bachelor of Information (BIT) course is to prepare students to understand the concept of information as well as understand the issues involved in using information technology appropriately. Furthermore, BIT provides students with knowledge of techniques and tools available to design, build and maintain software systems in an enterprise. Students will study the fundamentals of computing including programming, computer organization, operating systems, networking, and database management as well as basic concepts of computer networking and computer security. Other jobs involving information and computer technology include software design and development; web and database programming; Internet and network specialists and careers in financial systems, business analysis, and electronic product design. Common Questions
As an ESOS-registered provider, UHE must comply with the ESOS Act 2000 and the National Code of Practice 2018. This means international students are protected by rights including a written fee agreement before paying, guaranteed delivery of the education paid for, and the ability to receive a refund or be placed in another course if UHE is unable to teach the course.
Your visa may only be extended if you experience compassionate or compelling circumstances (such as illness supported by a medical certificate), if UHE has implemented an intervention strategy for students at risk of not meeting satisfactory course progress, or if an approved Leave of Absence has been granted.
You must advise UHE of your current address within seven days of arriving in Australia. For any other changes to personal details — including your name, phone number, personal email, or emergency contact — you must notify UHE Administration within seven days of the change.
For more information regarding the ESOS framework, you can visit the Australian Government's international education regulatory information page at https://internationaleducation.gov.au/Regulatory-Information/Pages/Regulatoryinformation.aspx.
A COE is issued for the expected duration of your studies — the time required to complete your course on a full-time basis. It is an official document linked to your student visa, and if you are unable to complete your course within the COE duration, a visa extension will only be considered under specific approved circumstances such as illness, provider-initiated intervention, or an approved Leave of Absence.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
