The tuition fee for the Bachelor of Information Technology is AUD $60,000 for the 3-year program. There is also a materials fee of AUD $120 per semester (6 semesters) and a non-refundable administration fee of AUD $250.
Students must complete 24 subjects in total — 16 core subjects and 8 elective subjects. In the first year, students must undertake 4 out of 8 available electives, and in the second year, 4 out of 7 available electives. All third-year subjects are core.
The Bachelor of Information Technology is offered at three campuses: Level 7, 628 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000; Level 2, 4-10 Goulburn Street, Sydney NSW 2000; and Level 1, 120 Roe Street, Northbridge WA 6003.
Prospective students who have completed post-secondary studies either in Australia or overseas are eligible to apply for recognition of prior learning or advanced standing. All credit applications must be submitted prior to enrolment. If credits are granted, the course duration will be adjusted accordingly.
A range of assessment tasks will be undertaken which may include written reports, essays, assignments, case studies, tests, group projects, oral presentations and formal examinations. The various Subject Study Guides provide specific information regarding assessments.
