Common Questions
Students are required to complete 24 units of study comprising 8 core units, 10 major units, and 6 elective units. Each unit is valued at 12.5 credit points, and the total credit points to be achieved for the award is 300. Typical study duration is taking 24 units in 6 trimesters over 2–3 years.
The annual tuition fee for international students is AUD $24,000, while the current tuition fee for domestic students is AUD $13,000. The annual fee is based on the proportion of units enrolled in of a standard full-time load of 24 credit points. EIA provides financial support through fee payment schedules and scholarships.
International applicants must meet an IELTS minimum overall score of 6.0, with no individual band score below 5.5, or an approved equivalent English proficiency qualification.

Yes, EIA recognises applicants' prior relevant study or experiences through unit credits. Experiences may be formal or informal. Where applicants can demonstrate achievement of the learning outcomes of a unit of study, EIA may grant credit for one or more units to a maximum of 12 units.
