Future International Students Students must be 18 years or above Completion of Pre-Enrolment Review prior to enrolment Completion of a language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) face to face assessment or interview via zoom or other video conferencing platform Basic to intermediate level of computer skills Completed studies in Mathematics in Year 11 and 12 and completed education level of Year 12 (or equivalent) or completed Diploma of Information Technology and Cybersecurity with AHSI or completed Bachelor or Masters degree with another provider Proficient in English. Future International Students will require: IELTS level of 6.0 or above with no band under 5.5 or TOEFL 46-60 (internet-based) or Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) 42-50 or Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) score of 162-169 or OET score of B for each test component Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students 18 years of age or older Applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who do not meet the entry criteria will be considered on the basis of a personal statement about their education, experience and skills These applicants will be interviewed by the academic team to assess the areas of support they need Domestic Students 18 years of age or older Ability to read and comprehend course requirements Intermediate to advanced understanding of computers and the internet to assist with conducting research and complete assessments Completion of Advanced Mathematics in HSC and an ATAR of minimum 60 or completion of the Diploma of Information Technology and Cybersecurity with AHSI Validation of Minimum Entry Requirements All students will undertake a Mathematics Test prior to enrolling, to allow the Dean and Course Coordinator to understand their level and whether they require a Mathematics remediation course for a period of 6 months prior to enrolling in the Bachelor of Information Technology and Cybersecurity Students who have more significant gaps in knowledge in Mathematics that cannot be mitigated easily, will have their first Semester deferred and will be asked to undertake a Mathematics remediation course prior to Semester 1. The students whose gap is not significant will be offered the FREE Mathematics remediation weekly classes for up to 12 hours per week for the duration of respective Semesters where this knowledge is needed.
