Yes. The Bachelor of Information Technology degrees at Flinders are accredited by the Australian Computer Society at the professional level. Professional ICT courses accredited by the Australian Computer Society are recognised internationally under the Seoul Accord, and graduates meet the academic requirements for attaining chartered status as ICT professionals. Additionally, as an authorised Cisco Academy, Flinders' partnership with Cisco allows you to undertake courses that contribute towards Cisco certification as a Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician or Cisco Certified Networking Associate.
Yes. In your third year, you will complete a 12-week Industry-based Practicum, giving you hands-on experience in a real workplace setting. Throughout the degree you will also develop practical, career-ready skills through labs and projects informed by industry.
Year 1 will be completed at the City campus, while Years 2 and 3 will be completed at Tonsley. The degree is delivered in person across both the Tonsley and City campuses in South Australia.
