To enter the Bachelor of Innovation with Honours, students must have completed an AQF7 Bachelor degree at Southern Cross University or another registered Australian Higher Education provider, achieved at least a Credit average (GPA of no less than 5), and satisfied the relevant Associate Dean (Education) that the proposed Honours program is sufficient to make them a suitable candidate for the award.
The Bachelor of Innovation with Honours takes 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time, and requires the completion of the equivalent of 8 units (96 credit points).
The Bachelor of Innovation with Honours may be awarded in the following classes: First Class; Second Class (Division 1); Second Class (Division 2); or Third Class.
Yes, the Bachelor of Innovation with Honours includes one double-weighted industry research project unit (EDUC4016), which fosters skills in research methodologies and could serve as a pathway to further research or future industry jobs.
The indicative fee for domestic students is $4,736 for the first year only, in a Commonwealth Supported Place where the Government pays some of the fees and the student pays the rest as the Student Contribution Amount (SCA). Eligible students can defer the SCA through a HECS-HELP loan.
