Graduates of the Bachelor of Interior Design are eligible to be admitted to the Design Institute of Australia (DIA) at the Associate Member level.
The course consists of 22 core units and 3 specialty (additional) units. Core units cover areas such as Studio subjects (Identity, Responsibility, Culture, Value, Relevance), visual communication, materials, design processes, construction and detailing, professional practice, digital environments, building systems and technology, and an interior design internship. The 3 specialty units are Retail and branded environments, Workplace futures, and Design for sustainability.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
