In the Bachelor of Languages, you will complete a modern language major, attain foundational knowledge in translation theory, gain real-world experience through practical translation projects, and engage in the study of different cultures.
Yes, you can pursue further study in a non-language subject area such as business, economics, humanities/social sciences, or science through the Shared Pool of majors and minors.
Yes, students have the opportunity to access exchange scholarships to undertake exchange or study abroad with the University of Sydney's international partners.
The closing date for Semester 1 is 31 January of the commencing year, and the closing date for Semester 2 is 15 July of the commencing year. Note that separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications.
