The combined degree provides a pathway to legal practice while also giving students a comprehensive grounding in business operations (including accounting, management, and analytics) and an understanding of business in the wider society (including strategy and impact). Students study the Bachelor of Commerce concurrently with Bachelor of Laws junior core requirements before progressing to senior core and elective law units.
For Semester 1, the closing date is 31 January of the commencing year. For Semester 2, the closing date is 15 July of the commencing year. Note that separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications.
Yes, international students commencing in Semester 2 will not be able to start the Law component until Semester 1 of the following year.
In the final year of the Bachelor of Laws, students will have the option to complete advanced coursework and an honours thesis, in addition to completing senior core and elective units from the Sydney Law School Undergraduate Table.
