The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) - Legal Practice Entry gives you everything in the standard law degree, plus the opportunity to complete a major research project called a dissertation. You'll explore a legal issue that matters to you, working closely with an expert supervisor to develop advanced research and writing skills that will set you apart in your career or future study.
Domestic students require a Guaranteed Entry ATAR of 95.00, a STAT score of 185.0, or a GPA of 5.5. Pathway options include Laws - Legal Practice Entry, Diploma in Laws, and Arts. There are no prerequisites or assumed knowledge requirements.
Yes. Graduates receive Honours and direct entry into the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, delivered in partnership with Leo Cussen in the Adelaide CBD, which provides a pathway to admission as a legal practitioner.
Yes. The degree includes practical experience and study abroad opportunities. Students can undertake internships through the Internship Program in Washington DC, the Vienna Internship Program, and the South Australian Parliamentary Internship, as well as hands-on experience at the Flinders Legal Centre and with industry partners or in places like Mongolia.
The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) - Legal Practice Entry is offered in person at both Bedford Park and the City Campus. Students can commence in either March or July each year. The course runs for 4 years full-time, or part-time equivalent (note: part-time options are not available for international students).
