Macquarie University accepts the following HSC English subjects for entry: English Standard (minimum Band 6), English as an Additional Language or Dialect (minimum Band 6), English Advanced (minimum Band 6), English Extension 1 (minimum E3), and English Extension 2 (minimum E3).
Yes, in addition to meeting the English subject requirement, applicants must also achieve a minimum Band 6 in any other Category A HSC subject, or a minimum E4 in any other Extension subject (other than the English Extension subjects already listed).
For English Extension 1 and English Extension 2, applicants need to achieve a minimum grade of E3 to meet the academic entry requirements for the Bachelor of Laws at Macquarie University.
Yes, any Category A HSC subject other than the English subjects already listed can be used to satisfy the second entry requirement, provided you achieve a minimum of Band 6 in that subject.
