The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) fulfils the academic requirements for admission to the legal profession. However, additional practical legal training is required to practise as a lawyer. The Bachelor of Laws is accredited by the NSW Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB). Students who intend to practise law outside Australia should check with the relevant country's admission body to confirm their practising requirements.
Yes, this course includes professional work experience as part of the Bachelor of Business. Students gain hands-on learning in a relevant business organisation.
Yes, students may be eligible to exit with a Bachelor of Laws after completing the equivalent of 24 units (288 credit points), as per the Bachelor of Laws Schedule of Units.
For domestic students, the course is available starting in March, July, and October, at both Gold Coast and Online. For international students, intakes are available in March and June, on-campus at Gold Coast only. Note that some locations may not have all intake periods available.
For domestic students, the indicative fee is $15,810 for the first year only, under a Commonwealth supported place. For international students studying at Gold Coast, the annual tuition fee is $26,000 (AUD $3,250 per unit), based on completing 8 units per year. Fees are subject to change, including annual increases over the duration of the course. International students are also required to pay OSHC for the duration of their visa in advance.
