The Bachelor of Commerce component offers the following majors: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, Public Relations, and Sport and Recreation Management. The number of Commerce courses will vary depending on the Major(s) chosen.
You are required to complete BUSN3900 Business Internship, which includes a minimum of 150 hours of practicum. Held over three phases, you will undertake classroom-based learning in phases one and two before undertaking a four-week industry placement in your third phase. There is also a Mentorship Program connecting penultimate and final year students with experienced legal practitioners who provide guidance on elective choices and applying for clerkships.
Yes, an Honours award is available for this program. Honours graduates are additionally required to critically evaluate, analyse, and deploy evidence in support of a research thesis and communicate their findings in both oral and written form.
The Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Commerce is available at both the Fremantle and Sydney campuses. You can commence in either Semester 1 or Semester 2, and the program can be studied full time or part time, with a full-time duration of 5.25 years.
For WA applicants with recent secondary education, an indicative ATAR/Selection Rank of 80 (including Adjustment Factors) is required, or an International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 29. In addition, all applicants must satisfy Minimum University Admission Requirements including minimum age and English Language Proficiency, and non-academic achievements and personal qualities are also considered.
