Yes. Deakin's Bachelor of Laws is designed to satisfy the academic qualifications necessary for admission to the legal profession. In Victoria, these requirements have been set by the Victorian Legal Admissions Board (VLAB). In addition to the academic qualifications, graduates are also required to complete certain practical legal training requirements and must be considered a fit and proper person for admission. Requirements for admission in jurisdictions outside Australia vary, so students should check the relevant jurisdiction's legal admissions authority.
Students must complete two WIL components: (1) one credit point of a Work Integrated Learning or practical course elective unit from the Bachelor of Laws (options include Legal Professional Practice MLL338, Community Legal Internship MLL351, Deakin Law Clinic MLL420, or Mooting and Advocacy MLL460); and (2) a minimum of 2 credit points of an international experience for the Bachelor of International Studies, which can be completed through an overseas university exchange, an international internship (AIS330 or AIS331), an approved study abroad program, or an approved onshore internship with an international organisation.
The course is available at Burwood (Melbourne), Waterfront (Geelong), and Online. Students at the Geelong Waterfront campus should be aware that travel between campuses will be required to complete this combined degree — the Bachelor of Laws is taught at Waterfront campus and the Bachelor of International Studies is taught at Waurn Ponds Campus.
For a Commonwealth Supported Place (HECS), the estimated tuition fee for the first year full-time is approximately $17,399. The total course requires 40 credit points — 24 from the Bachelor of Laws (Faculty of Business and Law) and 16 from the Bachelor of International Studies (Faculty of Arts and Education). The course takes 5 years to complete full-time.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
