The Guaranteed Entry ATAR for this course is 80. You'll be guaranteed a place if you meet or exceed this score, provided you also meet the course prerequisites. If your ATAR is below the guaranteed entry score, you can still be offered a place as your ATAR may be adjusted based on subject adjustments, equity schemes or other factors.

There are two majors available: Business Analysis, which focuses on speaking and interpreting both business and tech languages and using data to predict opportunities and create solutions; and Cyber Security Management, which develops skills in cybersecurity, law, ethics, and data to lead secure, tech-driven projects and help organisations manage cyber risks, compliance, and strategic innovation.

The course takes 5 years full-time or an equivalent period of part-time study. It is offered at the Hawthorn campus with intakes available in both Semester 1 and Semester 2.

Yes. Credit transfer is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course, with applicants assessed on a case-by-case basis. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is also available for skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training, also assessed on a case-by-case basis.

International students must satisfy one of the following English language requirements: an IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or completion of Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with an overall score of 65% and all skills at 65% or above, or equivalent measures as outlined on Swinburne's English language requirements page.
