Students can choose from the following Commerce majors: Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Event Management, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management, Project Management, and Sport Business. One or more of the majors in this course is externally recognised when studied within this course.
You will gain hands-on legal experience through the Community Legal Practice unit (LAW3602) and by participating in national and international mooting competitions. You will also complete 80 hours of professional practice where you engage with industry and/or community partner(s) to practically apply your discipline learning, which could include an internship, client-based project, consultancy, service learning, simulated practice, competition, or combination of these.
For domestic students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $19,600 (Commonwealth supported). For international students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $43,400.
Yes, domestic students can study this course full-time or part-time at the City Campus or online in both Semester 1 and Semester 2. International students are only available to study full-time at the City Campus in Semester 1 and Semester 2. Please note that unit overloads will be required in some semesters in order to complete the course within the standard duration of 5 years.
English competency requirements may be satisfied through: Year 12 English ATAR/English Literature ATAR grade C or better or equivalent; Special Tertiary Admissions Test; IELTS Academic Overall band minimum score of 6.0 (no individual band less than 6.0); successfully completed 1.0 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher in the UK, Ireland, USA, NZ or Canada; University Preparation Course; Indigenous University Orientation Course; AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree; successfully completed 0.375 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent); or other tests, courses or programs defined on the English Proficiency Bands page.
