Students can choose from the following engineering majors: Architectural, Biomedical, Civil, Electrical and Electronic, Mechanical, Product Design, Robotics and Mechatronics, and Software.
The Guaranteed Entry ATAR for the Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) is 80.0. If your ATAR is below the guaranteed entry score, you can still be offered a place as your ATAR may be adjusted based on subject adjustments, equity schemes or other factors.
The Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) takes 6.5 years full-time or equivalent part-time, and is offered at the Hawthorn campus with intakes in both Semester 1 and Semester 2.
International students must satisfy one of the following: an IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with an overall score of 70% and all skills at 65% or above, or equivalent measures as outlined on the English language requirements page.
Applicants who do not meet the mathematics prerequisites for this course will be required to successfully complete Swinburne's MathsLink Methods bridging program before being admitted to the course.
