The Guaranteed Entry ATAR for this course is 80. You'll be guaranteed a place if you meet or exceed this score, provided you also meet the course prerequisites. If your ATAR is below 80, you may still be offered a place as your ATAR can be adjusted based on subject adjustments, equity schemes or other factors.
The Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Psychological Sciences takes 4.5 years full-time, or the equivalent duration part-time, and is offered at the Hawthorn campus.
For domestic students, the course requires VCE Units 3 and 4 with a minimum study score of 20 in any English (except EAL) or 25 in English as Alternate Language (EAL) or equivalent. For international students, an IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0 is required, or Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with overall 70% and all skills 65% or above.
This course is offered at the Hawthorn campus with intakes available in both Semester 1 and Semester 2 each year.

Credit transfer is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course, with applicants assessed on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows students to gain credit towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training, also assessed on a case-by-case basis.
