Common Questions
Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Marketing can select specific units that comprise a minor in Digital Marketing. The four (4) minor units — Data-Driven Marketing Analytics (STA201), Digital Marketing (MKG203), Social Media Management (MKG305), and Digital Media Production (MDM301) — would be taken in the elective slots in Year 2 and Year 3 (in any four MKG specified elective slots).
For international students, the current tuition fee is AUD $22,000 per year (with an annual fee based on the proportion of units enrolled in of a standard full-time load of 24 credit points). For domestic students, the current tuition fee is AUD $12,000 per year. EIA provides financial support through fee payment schedules and scholarships.
International applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through IELTS with a minimum overall score of 6.0, with no individual band score below 5.5, or an approved equivalent.
Students are required to complete 24 units of study comprising 12 core units, 8 major units, and 4 elective units. Each unit is valued at 12.5 credit points, and the total credit points to be achieved for the award is 300. Typical study duration involves taking 4 units in 6 trimesters over 2–3 years. Students must successfully complete any prerequisite units before progressing.
Typical roles graduates enter include Advertising/Promotion Manager, Brand Manager, Copywriter, Marketing Manager, Market Research Analyst, Media Planner, and Production Manager. Additionally, successful completion of the 24 units and graduation is recognised for entering relevant master's degrees or other post-graduate qualifications in Australian institutions.
