You can apply for the Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences at UTS either through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) or directly to UTS. If applying through UAC, you will receive an offer via email from UAC and can then go to Start at UTS to accept. If applying directly, you can manage your application and accept your offer through My Student Portal.
UTS offers several alternative pathways, including the Skills for Tertiary Admission Test (STAT), entry with a VET or TAFE qualification such as an AQF diploma or advanced diploma, a limited ATAR for those who didn't finish high school, and the UTS College pathway for students who don't qualify for direct entry. Equity pathways such as the Jumbunna Admissions Program are also available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Yes, UTS offers over 400 scholarships for both domestic and international students. These include the Vice-Chancellor's Outstanding Achievement Scholarship, the Vice-Chancellor's Merit Scholarship, the UTS Humanitarian Scholarship, Indigenous scholarships, and the Equal Access Scholarship. Yes, depending on the course's requirements, you may be able to defer your offer. Domestic students should refer to the UTS page on deferring your course commencement, while international students should refer to the information on deferring your offer. UTS Online postgraduate students have a separate deferral process.
