Built into the fourth year of the course, the honours aspect of your degree requires you to undertake a substantial piece of original scientific research, developing essential research skills alongside critical and integrative thinking.
In second year, you can choose electives from a wide selection of subjects such as pathophysiology, exercise and cardio-respiratory physiology, genetics, molecular biology, immunology, Indigenous studies, public health, and all specialised areas within chemistry. You also have the potential to create minors in many of these and other areas to follow your passions.
The minimum score for guaranteed entry is a Selection Rank of 90. Your Selection Rank is your ATAR or IB Combined Rank plus any adjustments you are eligible to receive, such as adjustments based on subjects studied, school location, or eligibility for equity and access schemes.
