As a Radiation Therapist, you won’t just operate cutting-edge cancer treatment technology, you’ll support people through one of the most critical periods of their lives. You’ll use sophisticated radiation technology to target cancer cells – allowing cancer to be managed and cured. Our leading experts will teach you about using radiation therapy as a primary treatment modality, or alongside other multidisciplinary treatment approaches, such as surgery or chemotherapy. During your degree, you’ll have access to the latest technologies through placement opportunities and on campus in our world-class, purpose-built, Radiation Oncology Collaborative Network (ROCN). This teaching space is the first of its kind in Australia with state-of-the-art facilities including a Linear Accelerator, Computed Tomography Scanner, 36- PC Laboratory with dedicated planning software and Simulation Laboratory with clinical grade equipment.
