Students can choose to complete a single or double major as part of their 144 Units of Credit program.
For domestic students in a Commonwealth Supported Place, the 2026 indicative first year fee is $9,000, with an indicative full fee to complete the degree of $29,500. For international students, the 2026 indicative first year fee is $62,500, with an indicative full fee to complete the degree of $198,500. These fees are for tuition only and are subject to annual review.
The Bachelor of Medical Science includes Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities where students can intern with biotech firms, government departments or start-ups, or complete a research internship as part of a leading research team. The Bachelor of Medical Science consists of 144 Units of Credit (UOC) made up of 24 courses taken over three years of full-time study. The program includes a major (114 UOC, 19 courses), science electives (6 UOC, 1 course), free electives (12 UOC, 2 courses), and general education (12 UOC, 2 courses). Students can also study part-time over an extended period and have the option to complete a single or double major.
