About This Course

The Bachelor of Medical Sciences (Honours) is a one-year full-time honours degree at Curtin University. Students will justify a research approach using epidemiological, sociological, health services research or biomedical principles and concepts, design solutions or strategies for problems identified within a field of research, communicate research findings to a variety of audiences such as experts in the field and communities, demonstrate national and international research standards relevant to the research process and ethical reasoning, demonstrate knowledge of issues related to cultural safety and equity in relation to the research process and research outcomes, interpret findings of research within the context of quality of patient care or healthy communities, and demonstrate proficiency in conducting an ethical approach to clinical research.
