The total cost of the Bachelor of Ministry is AU$52,416 at 2026 fees. Fees are $2,184 per standard unit or $17,472 for a year of full-time study (8 units). Fees are subject to change from year to year.
The Bachelor of Ministry takes 3 years full-time or up to 9 years part-time to complete.
Entry requires successful completion of the Victorian Certificate of Education in an Australian secondary school, or equivalent. Prospective students apply by direct entry to a College of the University. The Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) is not used in selection at the University of Divinity.
Credit of up to 288 points may be granted towards this award. For example, holders of an Associate Degree or Advanced Diploma may receive up to 36 points, an Australian Bachelor's Degree or equivalent up to 72 points, and a Diploma of Catholic Youth Ministry (10603NAT or 11013NAT) up to 144 points.
Graduates have access to a range of postgraduate courses at Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters levels. Additionally, students undertaking the Bachelor of Ministry Social Work Pathway may proceed into the Master of Social Work at Flinders University, provided they complete specific required units including Sociology for Mission and Ministry, Justice and Community Development, and Ecotheology, among others.
