You can choose one of the following majors from the Bachelor of Modern Languages: Chinese Studies, French Studies, German Studies, Indonesian Studies, Italian Studies, Japanese Studies, Korean Studies, or Spanish Studies. All language majors cater to absolute beginners as well as to students with ATAR or equivalent in the relevant language, and some are also available for advanced-level entry.

Applicants presenting with IELTS Academic require an overall score of at least 7.5 and no band less than 7.0, in addition to meeting the minimum ATAR of 80 or equivalent and any prerequisites for their chosen majors.

Graduates may work as Community Liaison Officers, Cultural Interpreters, Diplomats, Diversity and Inclusion Workers, Foreign Affairs and Trade Officers, International Development Workers, Journalists, Teachers, or Translators, with the latter two roles requiring postgraduate study.
