You can choose from eight languages offered at UWA, which is the largest range of any WA university. The available language majors are Chinese Studies, French Studies, German Studies, Indonesian Studies, Italian Studies, Japanese Studies, Korean Studies, and Spanish Studies. All language majors cater to absolute beginners as well as to students with ATAR or equivalent in the relevant language, and some are also available for advanced-level entry.
The combined degree takes 4 years full time or part-time equivalent. By studying the two degrees together, you will graduate with two qualifications, having cut two years off the time it takes to study two degrees separately.
You can choose one of the following majors from the Bachelor of Commerce: Accounting, Business Analytics, Business Economics, Business Law, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management, or Marketing.
To be considered for this course you need to achieve a minimum ATAR of 80 or equivalent, demonstrate English language competence, and satisfy any prerequisites for your preferred majors. Applicants presenting with IELTS Academic require an overall score of at least 7.5 and no band less than 7.0.
Combining these two degrees opens opportunities in global organisations and agencies, corporate finance and management. Graduates may work as Foreign Affairs and Trade Officers, Investment Bankers, Business Analysts, Marketing Specialists, Finance Managers, Human Resources Professionals, Journalists, Cultural Interpreters, Teachers, or Translators. Note that roles such as Teacher and Translator may require postgraduate study.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
