The Bachelor of Modern Languages component offers the following majors: Chinese Studies, French Studies, German Studies, Indonesian Studies, Italian Studies, Japanese Studies, Korean Studies, and Spanish Studies. All language majors cater to absolute beginners as well as to students with ATAR or equivalent in the relevant language, and some are also available for advanced-level entry.
You can choose from the following majors within the Bachelor of Biomedical Science: Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing, Anatomy and Human Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Exercise and Health, Genetics, Humanities in Health and Medicine, Microbiology and Immunology, Neuroscience, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Pharmacology, Physiology, and Public Health.
Yes. If you decide either degree isn't right for you, you can exit one and complete the other, giving you flexibility throughout your studies.
Applicants presenting with IELTS Academic require an overall score of at least 7.5 and no band less than 7.0.
Yes. In addition to a language major, you are required to complete a minor in one of the following languages: Chinese Language and Culture, French, German, Indonesian Language and Culture, Italian, Japanese Language and Culture, Korean Language and Culture, or Spanish. This means you will become fluent in one language and achieve a functional level of competency in a second language.
